Please submit your registration for active participation (abstract submission) no later than 30 June 2026.
Important notice: All lectures, abstracts, and e-posters must be prepared and presented in English.
ACTIVE PARTICIPATION – REGISTRATION
Registration for active participation must be submitted no later than June 30, 2026 via the online system

Log in using the ACTIVE PARTICIPATION Registration form (top right corner) HERE.

Complete the Online Application for Active Participation – this form allows you to upload an abstract / e-poster.

The form can be edited after submission; you may add or upload your abstract / e-poster later. Registration is possible even without immediate submission of the abstract / e-poster.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, including a link to your submitted abstract / e-poster.

Important:
Registration for active participation does not automatically include registration for the congress – registration for passive participation is also required. Please ensure that the registration form is completed accurately and completely, and that your e-mail address is entered correctly.
Deadlines for submission:
• Abstract: no later than June 30, 2026
• E-poster: no later than August 31, 2026
Abstract and e-poster requirements:
• When preparing abstracts / e-posters, the prescribed structure must be strictly followed.
• Abstracts / e-posters submitted in any other format will be returned to the author for revision.

Notification of acceptance:
• Authors will be informed about acceptance / rejection of their contribution by August 4, 2026 at the latest.
• The programme and information on presentation length will be available from September 30, 2026.
• The presenting author undertakes to attend the congress and present the contribution in the assigned session and time slot.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to include presentations in the programme and to reassign them to the poster section if necessary. In the case of late submission, inclusion in the programme cannot be guaranteed.
ABSTRACTS
The deadline for submission is June 30, 2026.
Abstracts must be submitted exclusively in electronic form and within the deadline. Authors will be notified by e-mail regarding the acceptance or rejection of their submission and its placement in the program.
Abstracts must report original and specific results obtained by the authors. Avoid general statements such as "will be discussed" or "we will demonstrate," and always include numbers of patients, examinations, and outcomes. Review articles or state-of-the-art summaries will be accepted only after prior agreement with the Organizing Committee. Abstracts will not be edited; the presenting author is responsible for both the content and the formatting of their submission.

Non-compliance with the required structure or formatting may result in the abstract being returned for revision.
Submission / EDITING of Abstracts
ON-LINE: Submit via the Active Participation registration form.

If already registered, edit an existing submission.

Enter the e-mail and password used for registration (your form will appear).

Paste the abstract in the “Text” field – upload Word files only (.doc, .docx).
To edit an already submitted abstract, follow the same procedure.Confirmation of changes will be sent to your e-mail along with the submitted data and a link to the uploaded abstract.
E - POSTER
The deadline for submission is August 31, 2026.
E-posters will be displayed electronically on interactive touch screens. Participants can browse the e-posters independently on the screens.
Please follow the instructions below when preparing your e-poster.

E-Poster Preparation:

E-posters should be in PDF format.

Prepare your poster in MS PowerPoint.
-
Display area on the screen: 52 × 72 cm (width × height).
-
Width will automatically adjust to the screen, but we recommend setting the document width to 52 cm.
-
Height must be 72 cm (the poster cannot be scrolled; users navigate by arrows on the screen; zooming is not possible).
-
If your poster has multiple parts, divide it into multiple slides/screens.

Recommended minimum font size at 52 cm width: 18–20 pt (see template for reference).
E-Poster Creation Instructions:
1) Using MS PowerPoint:
a) Set document size: Width 52 cm, Height 72 cm (Design / Page Setup)
b) Add text, graphs, and images
c) Submit via the Online Registration Form for Active Participation in PPT or PPTX format (conversion to PDF will be done by the Secretariat)
2) Using other software
(Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, etc.):
a) Set document size: Width 52 cm, Height 72 cm

Videos
You may attach an unlimited number of videos to your e-poster.
Supported formats: avi, mp4, wmv, webm
Videos must be sent by August 31, 2026, via file transfer to: jarolimova@bos-congress.cz
LECTURE
All lecture rooms will be equipped with a data projector and a computer with MS Office (Windows).
Please limit the use of your own devices to essential cases only.
During breaks, speakers may contact the AV technicians to agree on the technical setup and specific requirements for their presentation.
What to bring your presentation on

Please bring your presentation files on a USB flash drive.

Save all files related to your presentation in one folder (PowerPoint file, video files, etc.).

If you are presenting more than one lecture during the congress, please store each presentation in a separate, clearly named folder to avoid confusion during upload
-
Always keep a backup copy of your presentation on another medium or portable drive.

Prepare your presentation in 16:9 format (the screen in the lecture hall uses this aspect ratio).
Computer Specifications – PowerPoint Instructions

Please save your presentation in **PowerPoint Presentation format (.ppt or .pptx) to ensure compatibility with our computers.

We recommend saving in PPT/PPTX format rather than PPS.

Prepare your presentation in 16:9 format.
Fonts

Only fonts included in the standard MS Windows (Czech version) installation will be available.
Using other fonts may result in incorrect display of your presentation. -
Recommended fonts: Arial, Times New Roman, Tahoma

If you insist on using special fonts, you must embed them in the presentation:

Go to Tools → Options → Save and check “Embed TrueType fonts”, then save your presentation.
VIDEOS/ IMAGES
If your presentation contains video files, please arrive at the Speakers’ Preview Room well in advance to test compatibility with our system.

VIDEO FORMATS SUPPORTED: Windows Media Player (*.mpeg, *.avi, *.wmv) – please bring your own codecs if needed.

SELF-RUNNING FILES: Macromedia Flash Player, etc. (*.exe)

IMAGES: JPG is the most commonly used format for inserting images into presentations. GIF, TIF, or BMP formats may also be used.
Where and when to upload your presentation
-
Please bring your presentation to the SPEAKERS’ PREVIEW ROOM no later than 2 hours before the start of the session in which you are presenting.
If you are scheduled for the first morning session, we recommend uploading your presentation the afternoon of the previous day. Technicians will be available to upload your presentation to the system and test it to ensure proper display. Please note that uploading directly in the lecture hall during the break before your session may not allow sufficient time for testing. -
You will be able to control your presentation using a remote control. The technician present will demonstrate its use during the break before your session.

After the congress, all presentations will be deleted from the congress computers.
